WELCOME TO CHENNAI : A POEM BY ME

This is me enjoying at Marina Beach, Chennai.

A city that offers hope and livelihood to many.
A city that teaches the value of every single penny.
A city that offers a panoramic view.
A city that teaches discipline too.
A city that's famous for Marina Beach.
A city that welcomes the tourists who reach.
To know the Indian culture and its rich heritage.
To share smiles, music, and knowledge.
A city that boasts of a rich history.
During the British regime, it was the part of Madras Presidency.
You get to view the British Architecture along the Chennai Central Station to Art Museum in Egmore.
A trip to the city is never a bore.
From the famous St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica, in Santhome.
To the Elliott's beach and Fort St.George, and much more to come.
The magical world of books is housed in Higginbothams, Mount Road.
The Connemara Public Library has the precious treasure of books I can't afford.
Welcome to Chennai and bask in its glory.
As the grand historical city has a long story.

Today, I went to visit my cousin in Madipakkam from Korattur, where I reside with my mom who lives quite close to my house. I am so lucky. One of the scenes features a metro train from Adambakkam Metro station. Hope you like it.

Thank you so much for taking your precious time to visit my website. Hope you enjoyed reading my blogs. 😊😊
