MY LIST OF FAVORITE AUTHORS (PART 1)
Hello friends,
Today, I would like to discuss about my most favorite authors who inspired me to take up reading very seriously. I was so inspired by them that I wanted to be an author like them. My journey as an author has just started and I have a very very long way to go.

WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
My mom gifted me Six tales of Shakespeare on my eighth or ninth birthday. Though I love all his works, but Othello, As you like it, and The Merchant of Venice are my favorites.
ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON
He was and would always be one of the greatest figures in English Literature. I love his books, especially, Treasure Island and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
CHARLES DICKENS
A splendid, super fabulous author who created very memorable characters. I love Great Expectations and David Copperfield as well as Oliver Twist.
DANIEL DEFOE
Robinson Crusoe has been one of my all time favourites.
JULES VERNE
I was so impressed with Jules Verne’s exceptional and very, very interesting books, that picking out a favorite is highly impossible but Around the world in Eighty Days and Journal to the Center of the Earth are absolutely priceless.
EMILY BRONTE
I just read Wuthering Heights while I was doing MA in English Literature. I became her fan. This classic touched me so much that I wish to keep reading it again.
JANE AUSTEN
I love her books, Pride and Prejudice, as well as Emma. They are priceless treasure.
HARPER LEE
Who can ever forget ” To kill a Mockingbird ” by Harper Lee? She’s an inspiration to all women authors.
AGATHA CHRISTIE
She was undoubtedly, a legend, and a creative genius. I keep wondering about her exceptional intelligence and how she created Miss Marple and Hercules Poirot. Wow! I still salute her.
J.K.ROWLING
My cousin from the USA introduced me to the magical world of Harry Potter and I got hooked on to the series. Her success story has been very very inspiring. I am planning to read her other books as well.
