A SPECIAL OCCASION

Good afternoon friends,

In one of my previous posts, I mentioned about the celebration of Aadi festival. Today is the 18th day of the Tamil month of Aadi which is widely celebrated as Aadi Perukku all over the state of Tamilnadu. People worship Mother Nature in the form of water which is vital for our survival. They offer prayers and variety meals as offerings to Goddesses on the banks of the Holy River, Cauvery.

Today, I made these delicacies to celebrate Aadi Perukku.

Semolina pudding.
Coconut rice
Lemon Rice
Curd rice.
Fried Papads ( just like crunchy crisps Or chips).
