A SATIRICAL POEM BY ME.

Good evening friends,

Today I got a shocking news of a mother of two, ending her life in my neighborhood. I don’t what caused her to take this extreme step. A couple of months ago, two brothers ended their lives. There are many reasons for going to such extremes.

  1. Financial trouble
  2. Upset over a family feud.
  3. Domestic abuse by a spouse.

I wrote this poem, considering the harassment of women by men and men by women after marriage.

I wonder how some devils get angels as their husbands or wives. 
Their partners must be leading miserable lives. 
Ego flows through the veins of the dominant partner. 
The submissive one is harassed by him or her. 

These lunatics can't take their own bloody care. 
Depending on their spouses to find them an underwear. 
Why do they think that they are geniuses? 
When, in fact, they are nothing but stubborn asses. 

They think they are God's gift to their spouses. 
Who build homes out of their houses. 
"You can't do it, you are a fool." 
They feel their criticism is quite cool. 
"You are just a housewife. What do you do all day? " ( Arrogant husband). 
" You earn so much money. Hand me your entire pay." ( Demanding wife). 


'Matches are made in heaven', they say. 
My viewpoint is ' No way.' 
Marriage is a necessary social evil. 
According to me, it's the conspiracy of devil.  
(Not all marriages stink) 
Your married life is heaven if your partner is great. 
It's better to be single than be abused by your soul mate. 

How I wish marriages came with an expiry date! 
And move on to the next one or remain single as per your fate. 
Get over the period of your captive days. 
With the dream of punching your partner's face.

Like we have talked about before, try to surround yourself not only with positive people, but with people who embody a sense of hope, joy, and peace. Thanks so much for sharing these stories.   30. Yes. Unfortunately it’s occurring on a regular basis. Our residential are saw three suicides in three months. I wish our area councillor could set up some counseling center to prevent suicide.
