A POEM BY ME.

Good afternoon friends,

Today, I may not be able to discuss my favorite authors and poets with you. I will certainly post two special features on authors and poets next week. Instead, I am sharing a poem with you.

I am so tired after a day of hard work. 
And searching for a place to rest. 
Finally, I found what I wanted. 
A Mother's lap is the best. 

As I rest my head on her lap, 
She gently runs her finger over my hair. 
I forget all my worries and relax. 
Such is a mother's soothing love and care. 

Such is the unique quality of her lap. 
It's softer than the world's softest cushion . 
Her kind words of comfort are sweeter than any nectar. 
She helps me to clear my confusion. 

A Mother is the most prized possession, 
Lucky are those who live with their mother. 
She's God's human version, 
She can't ever be replaced by any other. 

I close my eyes, listening to her songs. 
I want to sleep forever, resting my head on her lap. 
This is something that money can't buy. 
Learn to enjoy these simple pleasures as long as she's with you. 
She is the real source of happiness and joy.
