TRULY PRECIOUS MOMENTS. : A POEM BY ME.
Words can't describe the immense joy and pleasure. That we get from certain experience. Can you imagine stepping into an air-conditioned room? After being exposed to the sweltering heat of the sun. The moment when you take the first bite into the delicious ice-cream. It melts into your mouth. Sending pleasure to every part of the body. It makes you so happy. Or biting into the pulpy flesh of ripe, juicy, golden yellow mangoes. Heavenly! Divine! Fabulous! We feel the ecstasy without needing to resort to drugs. When you see your newborn baby smiling at you for the first time. Happiness knows no boundaries. When the sea waves touch your feet to relieve you of the heat. Or the cool air that kisses you when you swing really high. Trapped in a suffocating room and you step out to receive fresh air. When you see the first bloom of colorful flowers in the spring. And watch in fascination, the attractive butterflies fluttering by. Cuddling your cute puppy or kitty are some precious moments to cherish. It gives us great satisfaction to serve meals to the hungry and watching them eat with relish. The most adorable moment in our lives is resting our head in our mother's lap. The way she gently passes her fingers through our hair is priceless. This is the greatest treasure. Walking with our father and holding his hands, The joy is incomparable. His selfless love for us is reflected in his words of wisdom. He shares his knowledge and experience so that we won't repeat the same mistake. And having our grandparents pamper us with their love is the icing on the cake. Nothing makes us more happy than seeing our parents smile. When we hand over our first pay checks ( Cheque) to them and seek their blessings. They beam at us in pride. Their sacrifices haven't gone in vain. Let's vow to make them keep smiling again and again.

I gave my very first pay check to my mother and she gave me money for my 2 weeks of expenses going to and from work. I was 20 years old at that time. Up until I got married, she’s the one receiving my pay. 😊
