MY NEW IDENTITY ( POEM)
Who am I? I am just an ordinary housewife. Leading a monotonous and dreary life. I am longing to escape from this self-confinement. Trying to break free from the manacles of home imprisonment. I know there are many obstacles lying ahead. I have to choose my path carefully to tread. Though, the entire world is fighting to save its skin, I hear a voice calling from my heart, deep within. Don't let this pandemic bother you anymore. The opportunities for your career growth are galore. The writer in me has woken up again. And looks at me with pure disdain. She takes me to task for burying her alive. She is very proud of being able to survive. The test of time and low self-esteem, Now, it's the time to wake up and realize your dream. I have just discovered my true identity, I am going to create my own entity. I am on my way to pursue my passion, I just had enough of unwanted distraction.
