THE PALACE ON WHEELS : A LUXURY TRAIN OF INDIA.
Good morning friends,
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Traveling is one of my favorite activities. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the opportunity to travel much for the past two years due to corona. I just made a quick trip to Kerala for two days and came back. Today I want to share my dream of traveling in this luxury train someday with you.
THE PALACE ON WHEELS
This is one of the luxury trains of India that is way beyond the budget of a common man. That’s why I said that it was my dream to travel in this train. Anyway, let’s know more about what the train has to offer.
The Palace on Wheels was launched by The Indian Railways on 26 January 1982 to promote Rajasthan Tourism. The train offers 8 days/ 7 nights package starting from New Delhi and covers Jaipur (Day 2), Sawai Madhopur and Chittaurgarh (Day 3), Udaipur (Day 4), Jaisalmer (Day 5), Jodhpur (Day 6), Bharatpur and Agra (Day 7), return to New Delhi (Day 8).[
Ticket fare:

This is one of the lounges in the 23 coaches of the train. There are four cabins in each coach (named chambers or saloons by the company) with luxury amenities and Wi-Fi internet. The coaches are named after former Rajput states and matches the aesthetics and interiors of the royal past: Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Bundi, Dholpur, Dungargarh, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Kishangarh, Kota, Sirohi and Udaipur.
