LET’S DO IT: A POEM bY ME

Let's light the candle of hope to quell the darkness of despair. 

Let's spray the perfume of trust to overcome the stench of suspicion in the air. 

Let's douse the flame of hatred with the ocean of love. 

Let's be the messengers of peace like a dove. 


Let's quench the thirst for knowledge from the temples of education. 

Let's satiate our hunger to succeed with the morsels of hard work and determination. 

Let's stick together with each other in the journey of life. 

Let's learn to smile, love, and live in a world torn by war and strife. 

Let's forget the animosity we bear towards each other. 

Let's remember that we are the children of the same mother.  ( Mother Earth) 

Let's try to be ourselves instead of aping someone. 

Let's be children at heart and have all the fun. 

Let's be mature enough to realize we are not living for eternity. 

Let's do away with the mask of pretension and adorn ourselves with sincerity. 

As there's talent everywhere, and everyone is a genius. 


Let's work together for the sake of humanity. 

Let's not be the victims of political insanity. 

Let's promise never to give up on our dreams. 

Let's not get carried away by greed and fall prey to fraudulent schemes. 

Let's promise not to end our lives while going through a bad phase. 
 
Nothing is permanent in this world. 

We will see better days.
