THE IRRESISTIBLE FIRST: A POEM BY ME

The first ray of sunshine marks the beginning of a golden day. 
The first cup of coffee drives your sluggishness away. 
The first smile of your child warms your loving heart. 
The first expression of love from your spouse is a perfect morning start. 

The first drop of rain spreads the earth's fragrance everywhere. 
Bringing smiles to the parched lips and a joyous mood permeates the air. 
The first bite of delicious chocolate melting in your mouth. 
I can't ever forget my first trip down South.     
(India and not Australia though I would love to visit the country.) 

I still remember the first line of a poem that I wrote as a child. 
I enjoyed my first meeting with the animals in the wild! 
The first book that I ever read was a fairy tale.
My first memories of the cartoons were Donald Duck, Chip, and Dale. 

My first and the only love has been the books. 
I keep falling in love with how each book cover looks. 
I am so glad to declare that I am still in contact with my first friend. 
May the story of our friendship continue with no end. 

The first word when a child learns to speak is that of ma or mother. 
It's the most beautiful word for the most beautiful person. There's none like her another.
