WEIGHT GAIN

A FUNNY POEM BY ME

Easy to gain but difficult to lose,
My waistline continues to expand,
Though I try to reduce.
Fast food continues to lure me into its deadly trap.
Its bondage with me is very difficult to snap.
How I wish I could defeat my delicious foe!
Alas! My weight continues to grow.
I wish I could control my appetite,
And keep all junk food out of my sight.
I am going to wage a war against my obesity.
This is a litmus test of the intensity,
Of my resolution to lose weight gradually,
And stay slim and fit naturally.

I have a good news to share.

Finally, I have started taking care,

Of myself, and now I have managed to resist the temptation.

Of munching on food causing salivation.

I do have a very long way to go.

To junk food, I will continue to say a firm no.
